Finally!

It finally happened. Took two months of trying. I was a nervous wreck the first month. I was obsessively checking my period app on my phone sometimes just staring at it. This month I chilled out. I watched a few "trying to conceive" movies on Netflix. I really suggest "Conception". They follow nine couples the night they conceive and the stories are all so different. You got the teenagers in the backseat, the couple who have tried for years, the lesbians who do their turkey baster thing, the one night stand and of course I'm missing some... Then there's a twist at the end that wraps up the story. I loved it. I also watched The Great Sperm Race on YouTube. That is the best documentary EVER! Hilarious. They have people dress in all white as life-size sperm. You get a better understanding of how things work and an appreciation of the creativity of the writers as they have these sperm-people reenact what happens in the womb on solid ground. So entertaining.
I have only told close friends. I have told only those I would tell if the unthinkable happened. I bought Dru a very cute t-shirt for the announcement on his birthday. Its a dinosaur that is looking over a cracked egg with a Dino tale coming out. It says, "I'm going to be a big brother!" Adorable. The plan is for him to wear the t-shirt under a zipped hoodie at his birthday party and when he's done opening presents we'll coax him into showing off his t-shirt. I just hope it's not snowy or iced for his skating rink birthday party. This is the first year we're doing something outside the home. My kids will be a little over 5 1/2 years apart. Crazy! I never wanted there to be such an age separation. As soon as I get my period after this next baby we'll try for the third and final baby. (With Dru I got the my first period after about nine months. I breastfeed so its a natural birth control.) A psychic once told me I would have three kids with Billy. I think it's a good number. She might not be a real psychic, but she'll most likely be right about that. I'm really happy. I've been waiting since the summer of 2010 to have another baby. Finally!
