First Soccer Game

Joined a soccer team after a friend of mine, KJar, mentioned the team she joined was looking for one more. I actually jumped on the opportunity. I played as a kid, but I wasn't very good... haha. I was decent last Saturday. I ran really fast! I haven't really ran in forever. I have jogged every now and then, but can't remember the last time I sprinted. I bet there are four or five people per team that really kick ass and then five or six more than are beginners like me or just okay to good... It was fun nevertheless. Lots of running! I was very pumped and I wanted to be aggressive, but only got to actually be aggressive once. This guy kicked it against the wall and I ran after it, being the closest on my team to it and this bitch in a green shirt (opposing team) was right on my tail. I couldn't get around her so I kicked it to another team mate. My goalie on the other side of the field yelled at me to shoot for a goal, but I didn't.... :(
What I want to accomplish this season:
1.Make a goal. (And after a few games- make one goal per game.)
2.Be aggressive and steal the ball from the opposing team.
3.Be aggressive and not be afraid to get all up in someone's business to block them from making a goal.
4.Hit the ball with my head. I am actually terrified of this, but I want to do it. People did it about a dozen times! I was amazed!
5.Not hurt so much after a game!

I am still sore! My ankles, calves, knees, thighs, abs and BUTT and back muscles all hurt! I just ran my butt off and went after that soccer ball on a mission and didn't want to let anyone down on my first game. I wore myself out. I need to work out, practice and then I will be so bad ass! :) Hehehe....

Excited for the following Saturdays to come!
