My lovely sister, who we shall call Crazy Coupon Christy, signs me up for freebies all the time. I get coupons and samples all the time. We both call it fun mail. And, after watching today's news our fun mail is one of the only things keeping the postal system alive. I don't get any bills via postbox, but I sure do get plenty o freebies!
Last night Billy brought the mail to me and there were 8 tickets to see a movie in the outfield of the Redhawks stadium. My sister sent those to me as well as some to herself! After calling the phone number provided I found they were showing The Wizard of Oz. Knowing that my bestie, Stacie, and my mother-in-law LOVE that movie I invited them and, of course, my mini family. Dru will love The Wizard of Oz. He has never seen it and I wonder what he is going to call it. For Example: The Never Ending Story is "Flying Dog". Megamind is "Minion" because Megamind's side-kick is named Minion. Kung Fu Panda is "Panda Tiger". Despicable Me is Spica-Ho-ney... not my favorite mispronunciation... but what can I do?
Here are my predictions for The Wizard of Oz- "Dorky and Toto", "Green Bitch" (only because he can't say "witch", or "Flying Monkeys"... Will go along nicely with "Flying Dog", don't you think? I'm excited about the movie. A blanket in the outfield with a dozen people I love? Perfect evening to follow Western Days!
