I Need to Write More!

I used to blog so much and I loved to write. The love hasn't died so why did my writing?

Haven't written in over a year. Now, I could pick up where I left off, but I think I would hate writing after I attempted that.... So, I'll talk about today.

Today I decided to tackle some painting. I painted over a leopard print wall and and orange wall in the living room, and I also painted over the weird burnt rose colored hallway. Apartments supplied the same white paint it had been before and when I got seriously exhausted my husband finished the job! So sweet.
I have this need to move every year, and that isn't an option right now. I gave myself two options; pack all our crap and unpack just to get the "feel" of moving or get a completely new look. I picked the lesser crazy.
Work at the bank was nothing to brag about this particular day, but it was a short one. I love me some half days. I wanted to hit the thrift stores after clockin' out, but I knew I had some work to do at home so I skipped. I am currently looking for hang-able, paint-able frames for a project and two semi-tall yet not wide dressers. My love for thrift stores is in the top ten of favorite things.

Oh, something totally neat- I facebook creeped the people who live in the house I grew up in and found the mom of the clan. I met her when my friend, Mindi, and I were cruising our old neighborhood and the people that live in my old house were having a yard sale. I laid low at first, but they called me out and invited me in for a "tour". We talked for over an hour and it was amazing. I claimed every single one of those bedrooms at one point over 17 years. Including BOTH master bedrooms, too! Every room we went in I had so many memories to share. Anyway, I checked out her pics after she accepted my friend request and I saw a few happy pictures of her family in my old living room. Her kids prom pics and everyone's smiles. It was nice. I bet I could get a photo album out right now with pictures of me and my family standing in the exact same spot smiling just a big for kicks. It was so cool to see that. They are a really awesome family too.

Well, that's pretty decent for now!
Will blog soon!
